Dang, it’s been quite the year already for Dirty South. First he locked down one of 2011’s club anthems with his remix of Coming Home by Diddy-Dirty Money. Then he put out his new single Alive, with Thomas Gold featuring Kate Elsworth. Now he’s back with another fantastic and emotional remix of Skylar Grey’s Invisible. Dirty South has found an incredible niche in his music that tackles both the nostalgic and redemptive. His songs take beautiful pauses to let the vocals shine and then power through with a hook that gets you off your feet and ready to dance until sunrise.
Le Castle Vania was probably my favorite act at Starscape last weekend. This song is more or less a representation of why. Great stuff. Make sure to check out his other tracks!
Boy 8 Bit gets his name from the classic Amiga computer he used to produce 8-bit electronic music on as a kid. Although relatively unknown to mainstream EDM audiences, his single The Suspense Is Killing Me off the similarly titled EP, received immense acclaim in the underground indie/electronic music circuit. Phase IV is a new single off his forthcoming EP ‘Madrigal’. I wish that the end of the track was actually just the end of its intro, but it’s got a great sound nonetheless and I look forward to sharing the entire EP with you all when it comes out at the end of the month.

Couple days late on this one, but here it is, without any of the commercial accidentals. The new single from Justice - Civilization
I’ve been hungover for the entire day. I need an electronic music lullaby…
